You build and run the operational and financial backbone of a fast-scaling deep-tech company — across two continents — so the rest of the team can focus on getting wildlife intelligence into the field.
About the role
As Head of Operations & Finance you own the systems that keep Flox running: finance, planning, hiring operations, and the day-to-day infrastructure of a company growing across Sweden and the US. You turn ambition into structure — budgets, processes, and reporting that scale with us.
What you’ll do
- Own financial planning, budgeting, cash-flow, and reporting across both entities
- Build and improve the operational processes a scaling deep-tech company depends on
- Partner with the founders on fundraising, board reporting, and investor relations
- Manage relationships with external accounting, legal, and grant partners
- Support hiring operations and help shape the company’s culture as it grows
- Bring structure across the Stockholm and Syracuse operations
What you bring
- Proven experience leading operations and/or finance in a startup or scale-up
- Strong financial fluency — modeling, planning, and reporting
- A builder’s mindset: comfortable creating process where none exists
- Experience working across markets or entities is a strong plus
- Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus

Based in Stockholm or Syracuse with hybrid flexibility and collaboration across both time zones.
