About the role
You own the embedded layer of Flox Edge: firmware, device reliability, power management, and the hardware–software interface that everything else is built on.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain firmware for the Flox Edge device
- Own power management, connectivity, and device reliability in the field
- Build the interface between sensors, audio hardware, and the AI runtime
- Establish testing and over-the-air update processes
- Work closely with hardware, AI, and product teams
What you bring
- Deep embedded/firmware experience (C/C++, RTOS, low-power design)
- Track record shipping reliable connected hardware
- Comfort debugging across the hardware–software boundary
- Field-first reliability mindset
- Fluent in English
