Between 2022 and 2024, Flox co-developed and validated its technology at selected Swedavia airports — including Malmö, Kiruna and Umeå.
Swedavia operates many of Sweden’s busiest airports, where wildlife management is a year-round safety priority across widely varying conditions.
The collaboration delivered a remarkable result: 100% deterrence efficiency with over 200 animals — ranging from predatory birds and geese to foxes and ungulates — guided away from airfield areas.
The system proved its versatility across diverse scenarios, from managing large migratory bird flocks to operating seamlessly in harsh Nordic conditions, setting new standards for wildlife management at airports.
