After more than a year of continuous use, the Rural Economy and Agricultural Society of Halland reports unprecedented success protecting farmland from wild boar, deer, geese, crows and more — using Flox’s adaptive, AI-powered bioacoustics.

Unlike conventional deterrents — which they have seen animals learn to ignore within days or weeks — Flox’s adaptive system keeps working month after month, adjusting its signals to keep wildlife on alert. Now, local animals seem to have learned to avoid the fields at the very sight of Flox equipment.

At the heart of the project is Håkan Cajander, Senior Project Manager at Hushållningssällskapet Halland, who has spearheaded the integration of Flox as part of his mission to equip farmers with effective, sustainable tools that boost yields while protecting the environment.

Flox gently deters a wide range of wildlife and triggers instinctive flight responses. Its adaptive AI continuously evolves these deterrents, ensuring long-term effectiveness without chemicals, fencing, or constant human presence.

Founded in 1791, Hushållningssällskapet is a farmer-led organization working to strengthen rural economies and promote sustainability. Its Halland chapter supports over 2,400 farmer members with advisory services, innovation projects and cutting-edge trials. The collaboration with Flox is set to continue, expanding into new test sites across the region.
