From conflict to coexistence: Flox and Greenwood join forces to protect Colorado’s wildlife.

Conservation & Public Land
Flox Intelligence is partnering with Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Colorado to reduce human–wildlife conflict and give native animals a safer place in a fast-growing landscape.

As Colorado’s communities expand into wild spaces, encounters between people and animals are rising — from deer and elk on busy roads to predators drawn toward homes and farms. The result is a growing toll on both sides: injured wildlife, damaged property, and avoidable loss of life.

Together, Flox and Greenwood are working to change that. By combining Flox’s adaptive, non-lethal deterrence technology with Greenwood’s decades of rehabilitation and community expertise, the partnership aims to keep wildlife away from danger before conflict ever happens — and to rehome and protect the animals that need help.

Shared mission, complementary strengths

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center has cared for tens of thousands of injured and orphaned animals across more than 250 species, returning them to the wild. Flox brings the technology layer: AI-powered systems that detect and gently guide wildlife away from roads, properties, and other high-risk areas — humanely, and around the clock.

The collaboration reflects a shared belief that coexistence is not only possible, but practical — and that protecting wildlife and protecting people are the same goal.

“This partnership is about prevention. If we can keep animals out of harm’s way in the first place, fewer of them end up needing rescue — and communities stay safer too. Flox gives us a way to act before conflict happens.”
